In 2001, a 14-year-old kid from Alpine, California showed up to the inaugural Red Bull Rampage with his dad and woke up the next morning staring at cliffs.
He kept coming back.
More than two decades later, Kyle Strait is the only rider in history to have competed in every edition of Red Bull Rampage since its inception, and the only one to have won it twice, in 2004 and 2013.
A career built not on racing against the clock, but on reading terrain, committing to lines and trusting the bike beneath him completely.
That trust doesn't come from luck. It comes from experience — from years of pushing limits, making split-second decisions and knowing exactly how much depends on the equipment beneath you.
This year, Kyle rides with Tannus.
Different bikes. Different riding styles. Different demands.
Two solutions designed for different setups, but built around the same goal: giving riders the confidence to push harder, knowing their wheels are better protected from impacts, punctures and whatever the trail throws at them.
Tannus Armour — E-Bike
Kyle's e-bike runs Armour, our insert solution engineered for tubed setups. Designed to absorb hard impacts and prevent pinch flats, so you can ride bigger terrain with total confidence.
Tannus Tubeless Pro — Enduro
Kyle's enduro bike is set up with Tubeless Pro, our insert built for tubeless systems. It delivers maximum protection against rim strikes and punctures without compromising the natural feel of the ride.
We're proud to welcome Kyle Strait to the Tannus family for the 2026 season and excited to follow his adventures throughout the year.
Because when the terrain gets bigger, the consequences get bigger too.
And that's exactly where Tannus belongs.
