150km, No Punctures: Arno Van den Broeck's P5 at Megre Gravel on Tannus Tubeless Lite

Earlier this season, Tannus welcomed Thomas De Gendt and Arno Van den Broeck from the Powerplus Gravel Team. This weekend, Arno added another strong result to the season with a 5th-place finish at Megre Gravel, one of the events of the Gravel Earth Series.

Held in Anykščiai, Lithuania, Megre Gravel featured multiple race distances across demanding gravel terrain. Competing in the 150 km PRO race, Arno crossed the finish line in 5th place overall after 3:38:19 of racing.

Arno raced aggressively from the start, trying to form a breakaway early on. After 25-30 km, he spent some time off the front on his own, but the race remained tightly grouped at that point, and he was brought back into the group. With 30–35 km to go, three riders broke away and established themselves as the leading trio, holding their advantage to the finish. Arno pushed on to take 5th place as part of a chasing group of 10-12 riders, crossing the line just 4.87 seconds behind Eddy Le Huitouze in 4th.

As Arno explained:

"High speed gravel from start to finish. Lots of attacks and tactical moves. Three guys went off the front in the final and we had a sprint behind them with a bigger group. Happy to feel the shape is improving again."

Throughout the season, Arno and teammate Thomas De Gendt have been racing with Tannus Tubeless Lite. At Megre Gravel, the insert took every hit the Lithuanian gravel threw at it: no punctures, no second thoughts, allowing Arno to stay fully focused on the race from the first kilometer to the finish line.
