This tool was necessary.The S-Tool didn’t help with my 13mm rims.
However, I am disappointed by the quality. Material wise it’s not much more than two S-Tools. And I got two of them because I bought two wheels.
After installing one Tyre with it, there are already deep marks in the plastic and for 15 Euro I could already get some nice pliers with a lot more comfortable handles and metal that does not break after a few installs.
Maybe the choice of material is necessary because it shouldn’t damage the rims. But then there could be better designs where the tips would be replaceable and the rest of the tool is of a more premium material.
For now I think this tool feels like an easy money grab that just pads the margins because the free option that is really not a lot less just sucks way too much.
